Through the use of "Whale Songs," instructors and students will learn about cetaceans, gain a better understanding of marine research, and hopefully, find ways that they, too, can help save these great creatures so dangerously close to extinction.

The goal of Lesson Plans is to provide a library of interactive, interdisciplinary lessons, developed by both educators and students. These lessons aim to link schools around the globe, while enhancing our knowledge of whales and their marine habitat. Additions and comments are welcome. Full credit will be given.

In the future, a bulletin board will allow the exchange of information and ideas among students and educators, as providing answers by the researchers aboard Song of the Whale.
